      DO YA GET IT????

A picture of Tovar, she is the inspiration for the book Mom, Dad, Rag Mop and Me.

She was the first of my actual pets, one that I took care of  when I was a child. She was

 the start of a group of loved pets in our household.

    The Rainman came to our house while we were living in Las Vegas. He was the

  sweetest thing. When we took him to the Vet they said he was about a year old and

                                                 a pure bred Malamute. This started our love affair with Mals.

   Rainman passed away April 14, 1998. He is missed everyday.

Rocky Doodle, a Shih Tzu  came to us in Las Vegas also. He was actually a Mother's Day

present to me, even though I was never a mother to anything but an animal. This picture is not

doctored, Rocky grabbed my Dadi's pipe and carried it around. He always wanted something in

his mouth, even used a pacifier. Rocky is now gone, at the age of 16 in 2004.

Rivers came to us while we were living in Gravette Arkansas. She had been left for dead when

my mother's neighbor found her and started to feed her. She could not even lift her little head,

she did finally eat and become more healthy. When Joe had to move Rivers became my mother's cat.

 She went to have her spade as we all should our animals. Only to find out she was already going to have kittens.

So we adopted her and moved with her to Missouri.

There she blessed us with 4 kittens, unfortunately because she had been so malnutritioned only 2 of them lived.

After giving birth to Ripple and Rapids she was spade.

Rivers is still with us at age 13 and the sweetest most loveable kitty could could ever ask for.

           Ripple is Rivers baby girl. The most beautiful calico you have ever seen. That spot on her chin soooo unique..

                                                            Always right beside me. Always loving and sweet.

                                        Ripple passed away suddenly of a heart problem August 28, 2004 at the age of 10.

                                                                                She is surely missed.

                                           Rapids is also Rivers baby girl. She is a beautiful yellow and white.

                   Rapids was born with a tumor in her left eye, causing her eye to weep and cause her headaches.

                                                 This is a problem caused by Rivers being malnutritioned.

                                    Rapids and her mother have rule of the roost and keep the other kids in line.

                     Starting out as a show dog Dusty could not fulfill his breeders dream, he did not develop properly,

                               so at 7 months old he came to live with us as a pet.. Which we were very grateful for. 

            Dusty fit in with all the cats and we thought Rocky would be happy to have a new buddy after Rainman passed.

                  But Rocky was not to be consoled. Dusty did not mind, he found his way into the family with no problem.

                     Dusty passed away  April 6, 2005, from cancer after receiving Chemotherapy for several months.

                                                                              He is missed everyday.

                  Autumn Breeze the "MUTT"  born July 16, 1998 she came to us from a shelter not long after we got Dusty.

                                             She quickly became Dusty's best friend, they did everything together.

                She also became Rocky's nightmare. Holding his head and kissing him....oh that must have been awful! LOL

                                She is now the eldest dog and being annoyed by the new young ones. (serves her right)

                     Autumn is now nearly 10 and is training the new crew, but ranch security is still her main goal in life.

                                                                          Chasin is part of the new crew.

                A Bichon Frieze fully named  Danlyn's Chasin Des Chaussures. Rightly named as he loves to chase shoes.

                                                                     You notice he has his shoe with him.

                    Chasin was born April 18, 2005, so he is just a teen. Smart though. Too smart, he thinks he knows it all.

                                                                      Faze 3 is also part of the new crew.

                                Fully named Kaviak's Faze3 Falos DustnRain. The third Malamute that we have had.

               Born July 16, 2005, Faze came to live with us at 7 weeks old. He is smart as a whip, at 7 weeks 3 days he

                            could sit and shake. The first week of October 2005 was his first week at Puppy Training.

Now he has passed his Canine Good Citizen, and is studying to be a Therapy Dog.

                                              Faze is the first Malamute that we have had that LOVES water.

                          He plays in his little tykes pool and slides down the slide. He even likes laying in the rain.

        AND OH MAMA.......LOOK AT ME NOW.

                                                 Plan on seeing and hearing a lot about the kids in the future.
